Meet Denise Praul
As a lifelong Indianapolis resident, Denise Praul has an intimate understanding of the local market and its communities. She has been “taking the pain out of property taxes” for 20 years as a Level III Assessor/Appraiser and a State-Certified Tax Representative. She formed Accurate Tax Management Corporation in 1997, and over the past 15 years has helped numerous Hoosier businesses and homeowners navigate through the state’s complicated property tax system.
Denise is a member of BNI where she currently serves on the Membership Committee for her chapter. She also is a member of the Indiana Assessors Association, and the Fishers Chamber of Commerce. Since 2010 she has been a member of Indy Commercial Real Estate Women (IndyCREW), and sits on their Board as well as being a delegate representing the local chapter at the National level.
Denise’s commitment to the region is extended through her community service. She is the past board Treasurer for Coburn Place, and is the past board President for the Domestic Violence network of Greater Indianapolis. In 2002, her contributions earned her recognition from the Boys and Girls Club as Volunteer of the Year. In 2008 she received the YWCA’s Salute To Women of Achievement Award in the Volunteer Category, and in 2009 she was a Torchbearer Finalist. In 2011 IndyCREW named her Member of the Year, and in 2012 she was a Finalist for the Starkey Entrepreneur Award.
Denise has also had the honor of being included as one of the 30 women in Dr. Erin Albert’s book Single Women Entrepreneurs.
